A review on Iranian and world cinema box office for last weekend: Part 1

Grab updates on the cinema box office for last weekend on iFilm English Website.

While Oppenheimer is among the films that rule the box offices around the world, the air varies a bit in Dubai with a Bollywood movie grossing the highest in its first week of screening, making it the top watched movie in the last weekend.

Directed by Karan Johar, the Indian movie ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Perm Kahaani’ sold 66,866 tickets, which gained it the top position in Dubai Box office in a three-day time span that started on July 28 and ended on July 30.

During the same time period, Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ came second on the list with 64, 415 tickets sold.

Here you can see the rest of the list based on the number of weeks the films have been released and their total and weekly sales success.

Iranian Box Office:

Right now, Karim Amini has two best-selling comedy films on top of the Iranian box office. His directorial work ‘Fossil’ with 20 weeks of being on the screen has grossed the highest and his ‘Lawless City’, with only 8 weeks into its screening, comes second on the list.

The third highest grossing work is ‘3 Puffs’, a social drama directed by Saman Salur.

Stay tuned for more updates on both Iranian and foreign movies box offices in the coming weeks.
